Our luck with planting weather finally ran out. Perhaps there is a law of averages, after all… Not excessive amounts of any of them, but wind, rain and 4C made for a trial of obduracy – which we passed!
Tree Planting at Ronague at 11.00 a.m. on Sunday, 22nd February
We have been asked to plant a mixed hedgerow along two sides of a field on lovely land at Ronague in the South of the Island. This will create a wonderful wildlife habitat, with blossom and berries.
Sunday February 8 saw our latest planting, this time at Ballabeg. On this occasion we planted 100 young aspens on behalf of Bernard Schulte Ship Management, one of our loyal company members.
